On March 8th Open Canarias has dressed in purple in commemoration of all the women who have broken barriers and continue to make it possible for us to be a reference in innovation.

To do so, we have created a video in which Open Canarias women have sent a message of empowerment to commemorate International Women’s Day that we have spread through our Twitter and LinkedIn channels.

In addition, we have organized our Special Distinguished Talk Women’s Day, in which we have invited the coordinator of the Awareness Unit of the Vicente Ferrer Foundation Montse Ortíz, the graduate in Quantitative Economics and Master in Blockchain and Big Data Patricia Acebes, and the head of the training area of Sinpromi Inés López. An event in which our guests have been able to give visibility to their work and tell the experiences that as women they have lived in first person in their respective fields.
